This easy to install, utility packed avatar prefab grants you the ability to manipulate, control, and hover nearly any prop in worlds ranging from cups at the Black Cat up to jets in Test Pilots. Everything is setup for you, simply drop this prefab on your avatar, follow the few instructions, and Modular Avatar will setup the menus, FX, parameters, etc for you.

REQUIREMENTS

This prefab requires only Modular Avatar 1.10.0+

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

If the prop is not moving no matter how much you push and pull it, there are usually only four reasons why this is happening. First one is that that prop or rigidbody is owned by another player, for example if your friend picks up a bottle, VRC transfers ownership of that bottle to him, you cannot push/pull this bottle until you are the one to have ownership, you picking up the bottle transfers ownership back to you and instantly fixes this. This is the same for non VRC Pickup objects too like cars, if your friend sits in the driver seat of the car and you try to use your telekinesis powers on it, it will usually not work or be consistent. You sitting back in the driver's seat usually transfers ownership back to you, allowing you to now push/pull it. Second reason is the prop you are trying to push/pull is not in the VRC Pickup layer, by default Telekinesis Pull only works on objects in the VRC Pickup layer for consistent physics, turning on “Telekinesis Pull Layer ALL Mode” toggle on will allow “Telekinesis Pull Toggle” to interact with non VRC Pickup objects at the expense of less consistency with VRC Pick Up objects. Third, is the prop/rigid body might be too heavy, try cranking up the strength of your pull/push. Last reason is the object you're trying to interact with is simply not interactable by your telekinesis powers, for example the fruits in Melon Suika. 

I recommend creating a private instance of the Black Cat where you are the instance owner and using your telekinesis powers on the cups/drinks if you want to test proper installation of this prefab.

*FPS is also tied into the quality of physics of your PULL/PUSH, props might fall out of your telekinesis if you have 5 FPS for example.

TERMS

• Do not abuse this prefab too much and become a nuisance to other players
• You cannot not install this prefab into a commercial avatar or use it on public avatars
• You cannot redistribute the files, claim this as your prefab or resell it
• You can modify and tweak values to your liking, swap out crosshair, etc
